People Process & Technology

In traditional project management , the “People” aspect – or Change Management -  is often neglected and at best just given lip-service  without any real activities to support it.  Yet the Return On Investment and Payback period of your projects depends on your people being guided through all the changes a new project often entails. If People aren’t comfortable with the new Processes and Procedures, your project will never be considered a success! No matter how much money is thrown at it.  People just resort to the way they have always done things resulting in a lot of hard work and investments in vain. ProjectSaviour key focus is to support you in this process from the End-User perspective ensuring business and IT are aligned.

Experience has shown us that processes generally end up being a series of compromises which cause least resistance in the organisation – unless change is managed properly.

In our experience, it takes an out-side and holistic view to keep the project in line with the bigger picture of the organisation. This is no criticism of the internal project team who have their hands full in fire-fighting to keep the project on track within scope and cost. And for these exact reasons they cannot be expected to also keep the overall perspective.

Technology is an enabler to help drive and facilitate business, as we see it.  Many of our previous clients share this perspective.  More often than not, the dialogue between Line of Business and IT ends up being a series of misunderstandings and business requirements get “Lost in Translation”.  What is needed is an “interpreter” between the two areas. Investments in IT resources end up being deserted because they don’t provide the functionality the Business was looking for. This puts internal IT in a difficult and complex situation, often with the threat of outsourcing hanging over their head. We see more and more IT departments having to show a Profit & Loss account rather than being a cost-centre.

Our PPT approach follows these steps in accordance with your wishes and objectives:

  1. Determining Objective

    • Executive Coaching

    • Requirement Mapping

    • End-User Workshops

  2. Analysing Current Technology and Processes

  3. Gap Analysis

  4. Process Improvement and Re-engineering

  5. Re-aligning IT to support NEW processes

  6. Design and Implementation

  7.  Change Management

  8. Training & Education

  9. Winding Down

  10. Requirements Met?

  11.  User Satisfaction

  12. Objectives attained?

In other words, we work alongside you all the way through the various phases until your final objective is reached.
